About Laura McIntosh, FNP-C
Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Laura McIntosh, FNP-C knew she wanted a career that allowed her to touch the lives of those around her. With this innate desire to help others, her outgoing personality, and the constant yearning to learn, she moved to Southern California to pursue a career in the medical field.
Once in Southern California, Laura received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University. She spent three years working as an ICU nurse at PIH Health Hospital while continuing at Azusa Pacific University to achieve a Master of Science Degree in Nursing.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Laura chose to work at Montes Medical Group to participate in the practice’s history of serving the communities of the Los Angeles area for over three decades. She appreciates the opportunity to establish professional relationships with her patients and guide them towards better health. This provides Laura with the fulfillment and joy that she has been seeking in her career.
When Laura isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys sewing baby blankets and giving them away as gifts to the new parents she encounters.
